So I went to take the trash out at work today. I thought I could handle it myself, but evidently I couldn’t. The can fell into the trash compactor, and guess who got to jump in after it? Yes, me. My life is fantastic.

My laptop screen won’t turn on. I hear all the music that plays at startup and all the keyboard lights flash, but no screen.
I have 2 papers due on Wednesday and no time to call ITS today (Class 10-11, 12-2, yearbook meeting 2-3, RSO meeting 3-5, Band 5-6). I guess I’ll have to make a date with the Dell troubleshooting hotline.

Working at the dining hall is not a bad job. Yes, sometimes it gets a little dirty, but for the most part, it’s easy. You also get paid a decent amount of money for doing very little.
Today one of my workers told me that she was probably going to quit soon because she hated the job. I told her that it wasn’t that bad and to give it a little time. And also that I would stinkeye her...

Patrick Swayze dies at 57 →
Even though I knew this day would probably come, I’m still incredibly sad about Patrick Swayze’s death. I think I might be more upset about Swayze’s death than MJ or Billy Mays or anyone else who passed away this summer. The Outsiders was probably one of my favorite movies growing up…plus, who can forget Dirty Dancing? I’ve also known people who have passed away...
